At Poppyloop Studio, we create handcrafted felt decorations that bring joy, colour, and lasting charm to children’s spaces and beyond.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully stitched by hand using 100% natural wool — a beautiful, sustainable material that feels as special as it looks.

Since a young age, I’ve been drawn to making things with my hands — crafting has always been a part of who I am. Over the years, I explored many materials, but felt stood out to me for its incredible versatility.

I come from Eastern European roots, where the tradition of handcrafting runs deep. I grew up watching generations of women create with their hands — my grandmother would knit and sew cushions from old dresses, while my mother had a natural talent for embroidery. These quiet, creative acts left a lasting impression on me. My childhood was also filled with beautifully illustrated storybooks, their whimsical worlds and colours igniting my imagination — a source of inspiration I often return to. As an artist, I carry all of this with me. I don’t mass-produce — I craft with care, one piece at a time, infusing each design with creativity, intention, and a sense of story.

Nursery decor trends come and go — certain colours, shapes, or themes may be in fashion for a season — but my felt garlands are designed to stand the test of time. The quality of the materials and the timeless charm of each piece make them lasting heirlooms, not just passing decorations.
